Moderator created the topic: Welcome To Your Forum
Welcome to your SIMSurprise Forum.

The purpose of your Forum is to give you, our valued visitors, the chance to interact with Site Administrators and Authors, and other site visitors.

This will enable us to develop a better site for all.

Ideas on Site Features, Articles, How-To Guides. . ., can be presented and discussed on your Forum.

Tell us what you like, don't like, want to see more of (or even less of !).

What can we do better ?

What do we do well ?

Perhaps you are looking for advice on a "How do I . . . ?" - ask on your Forum.

If another User gives you good advice - don't forget to give them a "Thanks" - such a simple thing to do that can have a massive impact on people's eagerness to help.

Completing your Profile:

Along the top of your Forum, you will see a number of "Tabs" - one is titled: Profile.

Click Profile.

Next to your user name, you should see the word: Edit

Click Edit.

This will open a page where you can select:

Profile Information. This allows you to put in your Location, Gender, Date of Birth, eMail address nd a number of other contact options as well as your website name (if you have one). All of these are optional - if you do complete any of these fields they will be visible to other users who click on your Profile.

Avatar: This area lets you choose an existing Avatar, or upload one of your choosing.

Forum Settings: This lets you choose the order of Topic Replies, whether or not to show your eMail Address, whether or not to show you as on-line when logged in.

Your Forum also allows you to conduct Polls - so if you need to do a little Market Research among other Registered Users - try carrying out a Poll !

"Top Topics" - where a poster creates a Topic (sometimes referred to as a "Thread") that is considered of particular importance or interest, the Topic (Thread) will be moved to the top of the relevant Forum Category and kept there as a "Sticky" (sometimes referred to as "Pinned") this will keep that Topic at the forefront of the Forum Category.

We hope you enjoy your Forum.
